Questions
Is the data really sourced from official records?
Yes — every fact is read from a primary public document the municipality already publishes, and links back to the exact byte-version and page it came from. Nothing is editorial.
How do the plans work?
Pick one or more cities, one or more provinces, or go national. City is a flat rate per city; Province is priced by how many of that province's councils we cover (so Ontario costs more than a province we're just getting started in); National is quoted. The request form shows your estimate as you select. Every plan includes an API allowance (metered beyond it) and bulk export.
What if I go over my API allowance?
Nothing breaks — additional requests are billed at $4 per 1,000 (CAD), and annual or committed-use plans get volume discounts. If you consistently need more, the Custom tier sets a higher included allowance.
What about attribution and licensing?
Every paid plan includes a commercial license. Redistribution rights come with the Custom tier. Newsrooms, academics, and non-profits qualify for discounted non-commercial rates — just ask.
